My name is Ehsanur Rahman (Ehsan). I am from Bangladesh; born in Khulna, Bangladesh.
I received Juris Doctor degree from Thurgood
Marshall School of Law, Bachelor of Science
in Accounting from University of Houston – Clear Lake, Bachelor of
Commerce from Gov’t College of Commerce
in Chittagong, Bangladesh,
and high school education (SSC and HSC) from Faujdarhat
Cadet College. During
my final year in the law school, I served as a Law Clerk to the Chief
Justice Michael Schneider and Justice Tim Taft at the First Court of Appeals in Houston, Texas.
Prior to entering the legal profession and during my studies in the
USA, I owned and operated couple of family businesses for about seven
years. I am proficient in Bengali language,
my mother tongue, and can communicate in Hindi as well. I enjoy spending
leisure time with my friends in Scuba diving, skydiving, skiing, volunteering for US Air Force Auxiliary, producing
weekly television programs and various other activities for my community.
I got married to Samira Parvin (Nahid) on
January 18, 2002; was engaged on October 6, 2001.
